Shipping

Where does Riley ship?
  • We currently offer free ground shipping to the 48 contiguous United States, and will offer shipping to Alaska and Hawaii in the near future!
Do you ship to P.O. Boxes or military bases/APO/DPO/FPO?
  • Both of our shipping couriers, UPS and FedEx, are unable to deliver to P.O. Boxes and military addresses. As such, we only ship to street addresses.
What shipping options do you offer?
  • You can choose between free ground shipping, which takes 1-5 business days; or our 2-Day shipping option starting at $13, if you're hoping to get your order faster.
  • Prior to shipping, processing time may take up to 1-2 business days, unless otherwise stated on a product’s page.
When will I get my order?
  • We offer free ground shipping, which will arrive 1-5 business days after your order has been processed, or 2-Day shipping, which will arrive 2 business days after your order has been processed. Our processing time before an order ships is up to 3 days, excluding weekends. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email confirmation containing updated tracking information.
  • If you place an order before 12pm EST, we aim to get it out the following business day. However, during peak volume, we may experience some delays.
  • If a product notes a specific timeframe that it will ship within on its product page, you should expect to receive tracking within that window.
How can I make changes to my delivery?
  • If you would like to make changes to your shipment, the easiest way to do so is directly through UPS! If you haven’t already, you can create a UPS My Choice account. UPS My Choice gives you flexibility to:
    • • Change delivery date
    • • Change addresses
    • • Redeliver your package
    • • Pick up your package at another location or UPS Access Point
    • • Get an estimated and confirmed delivery date
    • • Track all of your existing packages (including Riley)
  • To request a change, please create a UPS My Choice account, open the page with your tracking number, and click the “Change my Delivery” button.
  • If you are unable to do so or having difficulties, please email hello@rileyhome.com with your order number and request, and we’ll get in touch to confirm if we’re able to make the update for you.
I think my package is missing and/or stolen? What can I do?
  • If you haven’t received your package but it has been marked as “delivered,” it will likely still arrive. Please allow 72 hours to pass before reaching out to hello@rileyhome.com. While we do not accept responsibility for packages that have been damaged, lost, or stolen in transit, we’re happy to help facilitate filing a claim with UPS or FedEx.

Orders

What forms of payment can I use?
  • We accept all major credit cards, Apple Pay, PayPal, and Afterpay. With the exception of gift cards, we can only accept one form of payment per order.
Can I combine discount codes?
  • We accept only one discount code per order. Discount codes cannot be combined together, or combined with rewards points. If you are having trouble applying a discount code at checkout, feel free to reach out to us at hello@rileyhome.com!
Can I cancel my order?
  • Once an order has been submitted we are unable to make any changes to it, including canceling. If you no longer want an item you purchased, please initiate a free return here!
  • All Last Chance items are final sale and are not refundable or exchangeable.
I placed an order but then created my account after the order was placed. Can you link my order to my account?
  • As long as the email address used to place your order is the same as that which was used to create your account, the order will automatically link to your account within 48 hours. Please email hello@rileyhome.com if you require further assistance.
Can I change/add to my order once it’s been placed?
  • Once an order has been submitted we are unable to make any changes to it, including removing or adding items.
  • If you no longer want an item you purchased, please initiate a free return here!
  • If you would like to purchase additional items, a separate order will have to be made.
  • All Last Chance items are final sale and are not refundable or exchangeable.
The item I’d like to purchase is sold out - what do I do?

Returns

What is your return policy?
  • We are happy to accept returns on eligible items within 60 days of your purchase. To be eligible, items must be in new or gently used condition, in their original packaging, and postmarked for return within 60 days of delivery receipt.
  • If you return an item, you’ll receive a refund for the item’s total value at the time of purchase in the original method of payment. We do not provide refunds for shipping.
  • Items purchased as part of a set may be returned individually.
  • All Last Chance items are final sale and are not refundable or exchangeable.
How do I return an item?
  • To return an item purchased within the last 60 days, click here and follow the prompts.

How long will it take to receive my refund?
  • Once we receive your returned item and successfully process it, we will issue a refund to your original form of payment. Please allow 3-5 business days after the returned item has been processed to see the refund reflected on your statement.
Can I exchange my order?
  • We don't currently offer exchanges. If you're looking to exchange, we recommend returning and placing a new order.
Can Last Chance items be returned?
  • All Last Chance items are final sale and are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

 

Warranty

Which items are covered under a five-year limited warranty?
What is covered under the warranty?
  • During the warranty period, our limited warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship in products purchased at rileyhome.com.
How does the warranty work?
  • Within the Warranty Period, we will, in our sole discretion, either repair or replace your product free of charge or refund the purchase price. We will also pay for shipping and handling fees associated with the replacement, return, or repair. The Warranty Period is not extended beyond the original five (5) years if we repair or replace a warranted product. We may change the availability of this limited warranty at our discretion.
What does the warranty not cover?
  • This warranty does not cover any damages due to:
    • • Normal wear and tear as determined by the Riley Team at its sole discretion
    • • Transportation/delivery
    • • Improper storage or use
    • • Failure to follow the product care instructions or to perform preventative maintenance
    • • Unauthorized modification or repair
    • • Combination or use with any products, materials, processes, systems or other matter
    • • External causes such as accidents, abuse, or other actions or events beyond our reasonable control
  • Though we are not able to apply the warranty after the five year mark, our team is equipped with a number of tips and tricks to help maintain the longevity of your items.
Can I file a warranty claim if I was not the original purchaser?
  • Riley’s limited warranty extends only to the original purchaser of products from rileyhome.com. It does not extend to any subsequent or other owner or transferee of the product.
How do I file a warranty claim?

I've heard so many things about your White Goose Down Comforter! What's the big deal?
  • Our best-selling White Goose Down Comforter has been recognized as the absolute best comforter two years in a row by Wirecutter, The New York Times’ prestigious independent consumer products review organization. The outside cover of the comforter is made in a soft, lustrous, 100% cotton sateen fabric. On the inside, our comforters (and all of our other down products) are filled with the highest quality European white goose down — certified with the Responsible Down Standard. Each comforter features a perfectly tailored baffle box construction which ensures the down fill remains evenly distributed night after night. We offer two levels of warmth: All-Season, for year-round use, or Extra Warm, if you tend to sleep cold or want the extra warmth during the winter months.
I'm so torn! How do I decide between all the different bedding materials that you offer?
  • We currently offer our sheets in 6 different collections: Percale, Sateen, Organic Cotton, Linen, Cotton Cashmere, and Brushed Cotton.
    • • Our award-winning Percale Sheets are our most popular for a reason — crafted from 100% premium long-staple combed cotton, they are cool, crisp and perfect for every season.
    • • If you're looking for something a bit more indulgent, go with our Sateen Sheets; they are incredibly smooth to the touch and feature a luxurious sheen for maximum comfort.
    • • Our Linen Sheets are light and breathable, perfect for all year round use. Crafted in Portugal with 100% premium euroflax Belgian linen, they are lightweight yet still extremely cozy and make the perfect addition to any bed.
    • • Our Organic Cotton Collection is our first offering made from 100% premium long-staple organic combed cotton sateen. These sheets are lightweight, cool, and feel broken-in just out of the package.

What do your sheet sets include?
  • Our sheet sets come with one fitted sheet and a pair of pillowcases. You also have the option to add a matching flat sheet. Our Organic Cotton Collection is only sold together and includes one fitted sheet, one flat sheet, and a pair of pillowcases. All pillowcase sizes correspond to the size of the sheets being purchased — Standard pillowcases with Twin, Full, and Queen sheets; King pillowcases with King and California King sheets.
What certifications do your bedding products have?
  • All of our sheets, pillowcases, duvet covers, and shams are OEKO-TEX certified. This means they have been tested and proven to be free of harmful chemicals and substances — ensuring their safety and sustainability.
  • All of our down products are Responsible Down Standard (RDS) certified, meaning that the entire supply chain is strictly governed by standards that ensure humane animal treatment as well as the highest-quality down.
What are your sustainability practices?
  • At Riley, sustainability and craftsmanship are top priorities when it comes to identifying our suppliers. We partner with only the finest manufacturers who share our passion for the environment — many of which are artisanal production facilities that have been family-owned for multiple generations. Our OEKO-TEX certified products are tested and proven to be free from harmful substances and chemicals often used in textile production. This ensures our products’ safety and sustainability.

Where are your products made?
  • The drive to create the highest quality, luxury essentials has taken us all over the world. We’re grateful to have cultivated exclusive relationships with some of the finest textile mills and top artisans in small towns across Portugal, the US, and globally — most of whom have been operating as family-run businesses for many generations. What is your thread count?
  • For years we've been told that thread count is all that matters in determining the quality of our bedding, but it's more than just the thread that counts. Fiber content, finish, weave, production techniques, and quality control are all more important than thread count in the making of luxury sheets. This is why you won’t find the thread count listed for any of our products. We are proud to say that our sheets are crafted in 4th generation artisanal mills in Portugal using the finest long-staple cotton fibers and with inspection points after every step. Research has shown us that quality is more than just a numbers game, which is why we skip the gimmicky metrics and focus on what really matters.

 

Care Instructions

How do I take care of my bedding?
  • Always wash your bedding prior to using it for the first time. Wash similar items and colors together (sheets with sheets, towels with towels, dark colors with dark colors).
  • When washing your bedding, do so with cold water on a gentle cycle, using a mild laundry detergent. For detergents, we like Tide Free & Gentle, Tide Simply Clean & Sensitive, and Seventh Generation Free & Clear.
  • For fighting stains, we recommend using baking soda and vinegar, or Oxyclean. Our bedding is OEKO-TEX certified to be free from harmful chemicals, and as such, is not designed to be dry cleaned or washed with chlorine bleach.
  • Make sure your washer or dryer is not overcrowded with laundry. This can prevent your bedding from drying evenly and lead to more wrinkles.
  • If you’d like to iron your bedding, we recommend doing so at a low temperature, or by using a steamer.
How do I take care of my bath accessories?

  • We recommend running up to two additional cold rinse cycles to remove any soap residue.
  • For stain fighting, we recommend using baking soda and vinegar, or Oxyclean. Our pillows and comforters are tested and proven to be free from harmful chemicals, and as such, are not designed to be dry cleaned or washed with chlorine bleach.
  • Wash and dry your pillows and comforters on their own, without anything else in the washing machine or dryer. Overcrowding during either cycle could damage your Riley bedding.
  • To dry, use a front-loading dryer on a low temperature. For maximum loft, toss in a few clean tennis balls or dryer balls. Remove the item promptly once the drying cycle is complete.
How can I fluff up my comforter?
  • To fluff up your comforter, tumble dry on low heat in a front-loading dryer with wool dryer balls. If you don't have wool dryer balls handy, we've found that tennis balls often do the trick in a pinch.
Does Percale wrinkle?
  • Wrinkles are part of the inherent beauty of high-quality Percale. Since our bedding is OEKO-TEX certified to be free from harsh resins that often prevent wrinkles — you may notice some. To prevent excessive wrinkling, avoid drying your bedding all the way. Tumble dry on low heat until it’s just barely dry and remove promptly. Smooth out any wrinkles or creases, and fold or make your bed while your bedding is still warm.
How can I avoid discoloring my new towels and sheets?
  • Both our Spa and Plush towel collections are now cosmetic safe and proven to resist staining from some of the most common ingredients in personal care products (Benzoyl Peroxide, Salicylic Acid, Retinol A, Whitening Toothpaste, Hydrogen Peroxide). That said, we recommend avoiding the use of chlorine bleach, and instead using Oxyclean or other non-chlorine bleach alternatives.
  • Our sheets, on the other hand, are crafted from lightweight, breathable fabrics that would be stiffened by the use of a cosmetic-safe finish. This is much less a concern for dense terry fabrics like our Plush and Spa towel collections. We know a soft, luxurious hand feel takes precedence when it comes to bedding, and as such, our sheets are not treated with the same cosmetic-safe finish as our towels. If your personal care routine includes ingredients like Benzoyl Peroxide that can bleach or stain dyed fabrics, we recommend purchasing white sheets that are less likely to be impacted.

What is the Riley Rewards Program?
  • Riley Rewards is our loyalty program that allows you to earn points every time you shop with us, because the only thing better than Riley is even more Riley. The program and perks are simple - whenever you make a purchase on our site, you will receive 1 point for every dollar spent. Those points can then be redeemed as a credit on a future Riley purchase.
How can I earn reward points?
  • There are various ways to earn Riley Reward Points:
    • • Create a Riley account and automatically earn 50 points.
    • • Make a purchase: Earn 1 point for every $1 spent on our site.
    • • Write a review: Earn 250 points for writing a product review of a past order you placed.
    • • Refer a friend: Earn 500 points every time a friend you’ve referred successfully makes their first purchase of $150+.
How do I sign up for Riley Rewards?
    • Anyone with a Riley account automatically earns Riley Rewards! Create an account here. If you already have a Riley account, sign in and head to the Riley Rewards Program page to explore the program and perks.
How much site credit are my points worth?
  • For every 500 points earned, you will receive a $25 reward. Here is a simple breakdown:
  • 500 points = $25
  • 1000 points = $50
  • 1500 points = $75
  • 2000 points = $100
  • 2500 points = $125
  • 3000 points = $150
How do I redeem my rewards?
  • Once you’ve earned 500 points, you’re eligible to redeem your Riley Rewards. Please be sure you are signed into your Riley account. At the checkout page, you’ll find your Reward Point balance underneath the contents of your order. From there, you can select which reward you want to redeem and then click “Apply”. The reward amount will be reflected as a custom, one-time discount in your cart.
What is the minimum purchase amount required to redeem a reward?
  • You must purchase an item that is equal to or greater than the reward value in order to redeem the reward. For example, if you would like to redeem a $25 reward, your total purchase value must be $25 or greater.
Am I able to redeem my rewards while using another promotion or discount?
  • No, rewards cannot be combined with another promotion or discount.
If I make a return, do I get to keep my rewards points for that purchase?
  • If you make a return, the rewards points earned for that purchase (1 point per $1 spent) will be deducted from your balance.
  • If you make a full return, all points earned for that purchase will be deducted from your balance.
  • If you make a partial return, only the points earned for that item will be deducted from your balance.
If I make a purchase with rewards points, and then return it, do I get my points back?
  • No, you will not be refunded the rewards points you redeemed to make the purchase.
Where can I check my point balance?
  • You can check your points balance by clicking "Rewards Program" from the “About” dropdown menu. You can also see your points balance during the checkout process.
Can I consolidate two Riley Rewards accounts?
  • Riley Rewards accounts are not able to be combined. We recommend always using your own Riley account when making purchases to maximize your rewards.

Do my Riley Rewards expire?
  • No! Riley Rewards points never expire.
Are there any limits on which products I can apply my Riley Rewards towards?

  • If purchasing a gift card and it is the only item in the order, rewards points cannot be used. However, if a gift card is a part of an order that includes other items, rewards points can be used.

What is the Riley Referral program?
  • The Riley Referral program allows you to share the Riley love! Every time you refer a friend who successfully makes their first purchase of $150+ with us, you both earn $25 (500 points)! It’s the best way to share the Riley goods you love with the people you love - just note, you cannot refer yourself.
How do I refer a friend?
  • You can refer a friend by entering their email address in the “Refer Now” section, at the bottom of our Riley Rewards Program page (accessible from the “About” dropdown menu in the top right corner of our website). There is no limit on the number of referrals you can send — so feel free to invite as many friends as you’d like! Each friend will receive a unique, one-time code for $25 off their first purchase of $150+.

  • We typically have two promotional events per year – one for Memorial Day and one for Black Friday / Cyber Monday. Subscribe to our emails so you can be the first to hear about our next event!
